The Heartland Education Community, Inc., was formed in the early 1990s to explore ways to leverage the talent and resources of the community for the betterment of education. From its founding, Heartland has intended to strengthen the sense of partnership between segments of the community – schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, parents, and churches.
